GENERAL Trias City, Cavite -- Residents of Bgy. Pinagtipunan here joined together to conduct a massive clean-up drive in their village recently.
Village Chief Joel Prudente, together with members of the barangay and volunteers cleaned up the village from the boundary of Bgy. Prinza up to Bgy. Tapia.
Truckloads of garbage were collected as the volunteers also clean the barangay roads, eskinita and canals of the village as the country commemorates Environment Awareness Month and Filipino Values Month this November.
“Nawa’y patuloy tayong makiisa sa mga gawaing pangkalikasan sa ating barangay upang mapag-i-ngatan at mapahalagahan ang ating kinabukasan,” Cong. Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV said in an interview.
Bgy. Pinagtipunan also implements Republic Act 9482 or the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007. They also strictly implemented the “Aso Mo, Itali Mo” drive.
The said village also implemented the videoke regulation act. Residential areas can use videoke from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. only.
Non-residential areas can operate only from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Residents can use their videoke on weekends and special holiday up to 12 midnight.
