A wanted female ‘high-value drug target in Cavite province and her two accomplices were arrested by the local police in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City which resulted in the confiscation of 635 grams of shabu worth nearly P4.5 million early morning yesterday, Cavite Police Provincial Office director, Colonel Marlon Santos said.
In a report to Police Regional Office 4-A director, Brigadier General Vicente D. Danao Jr., the official identified the suspects as Aisa Juimalo alias ‘Aisa,’ a wanted big-time drug trafficker and her associates Bainot Saidali alias ‘Tamban and Nasser Makalpal, both newly-identified drug personalities in Cavite.
Santos said that members of the Bacoor City Police Station under Lieutenant Col. Vicente Cabatingan arrested the trio during an entrapment operation in Houston Street, Georgetown Phase 2 in Molino 4, Bacoor City at around 2:45 a.m. yesterday.
The official said that recovered from the suspects were 19 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing the so-called ‘poor man’s cocaine’ with a local market value of P4,318,000 and the marked money topped by three marked P1,000 bills.
According to Santos, the Bacoor City Police Drug Enforcement Team led by Major Ruben Ballera Jr., in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency placed the suspects under surveillance amid persistent complaints regarding their involvement in rampant drug trafficking activities.
He described Juimal as Bacoor City police’s no. 1 drug target since last year.
The suspects will be facing non-bailable charges for sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, Santos said.
