CABANATUAN CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives nabbed a “high value target” (HVT) and eight other suspected drug peddlers, including a 16-year-old boy during intensified anti-illegal drug operations in Nueva Ecija on Wednesday.
Provincial police director Col. Marvin Joe C. Saro also said his men seized illegal drugs amounting to about P101,000 during the separate operations conducted in this city and in the towns of Talavera, Jaen, San Isidro, Lupao, Rizal and Peňaranda.
Saro said the arrested HVT was identified as Adonis Yuzon, 38, an alleged employee at the Nueva Ecija provincial jail, of Sitio Pulo, Bgy. Caalibangbangan, this city.
He was collared during joint operations conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Nueva Ecija-Cabanatuan City anti-illegal drug enforcement units at his supposed drug lair at 3:20 p.m.
Also seized from the suspect were the drug bust money worth P500, four plastic sachets containing shabu worth about P3,000, and his Kawasaki Bajaj tricycle.
In Bgy. Putlod, Jaen, Saro said his men also collared a jobless 16-year—old suspect, who was caught in possession of nine plastic sachets containing shabu during a buy-bust conducted at 11 p.m.
Other drug suspects who fell in separate drug stings were identified as Ronnie Roque, 54, alias Jolex, of Bgy. Maliwalo, Tarlac City; June Francisco, 47, alias Tiago, and Reliver Flores, 37, alias Ebey, both of Bgy. Pulo, San Isidro; Marvin Bago, 47, tricycle driver, of Bgy. Poblacion, Penaranda; Chito Reyes, 47, alias Utak, of Bgy. FE. Marcos, Talavera; and Manuel Narciso Jr., 53, alias Jun, driver, and Robert Sarte, 50, alis Obet, both of Bgy. Aduas Sur, this city.
