Itogon cops collar 5 most wanted

BENGUET -- A tracker team from the Itogon Municipal Police Station arrested five wanted persons Monday afternoon in Ampucao  by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by Judge Linda Bading Gumabol, of MTC, Itogon.

Police identified the suspects as Benson Nebreja Marino, 66, widower, unemployed, of Paday, Ampucao, Itogon who was arrested for grave coersion, with a recommended bail of P24,000 and violation of Section 107 of RA No. 7942 with a recommended bail of P24,000; Erich Alip Pitelan, 54, self-employed,of Ampucao (grave coercion), with a recommended bail of P24,000 and violation of Section 107,  RA 7942, with a recommended bail of P24,000; Jaime Mareno Alipio, 80, widower, unemployed, of Saga, Philex, Ampucao (grave coercion), with a recommended bail of P24,000 and violation of Section 107, RA 7942 with a recommended bail of P24,000; Rafael Aritao Ewis, 43, married, laborer, of Dam 3, Ampucao, Itogon (violation of Section 107, RA 7942); and Wakit Ewis, 37, married, housekeeper, of 545 Benguet Village, Ampucao (grave coercion under Criminal Case No. R-2367).

The arrested persons were brought to Itogon MPS for documentation prior turnover to the issuing court.
