CABANATUAN City -- A man nicknamed “Kaldero” and a 38-year-old electrician were nabbed in separate anti-drug operations conducted in two Nueva Ecija towns on Saturday morning.
In General Tinio, police collared alias Kaldero, whose true name is Jovito Gaboy, 48, driver, of Bgy. Concepcion, during a buy-bust operation in the same barangay at 7:50 a.m.
Acting provincial police director Senior Supt. Leon Victor Z. Rosete said members of the local police, in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 arrested the suspect after he sold a plastic sachet of shabu to an undercover operative. The suspect also yielded the P500 marked money used in the operation.
In Laur town, a police search operation on his house resulted in the arrest of Aldrin Mones, 38, electrician, of Bgy. Siclong, after he yielded three plastic sachets of shabu.
Senior Insp. Christopher Baluyot, town police head, said his men conducted an operation on the basis of search warrant issued by Executive Judge Emelita DC. Miranda-Portillo, of the Regional Trial Court Branch 7-FC in Palayan City.
Separate drug charges are set to be filed against the suspects before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Cabanatuan City.
