ANGELES CITY – Policemen here arrested a 30-year-old man who robbed a Korean national in the latter’s residence at Barangay Pampang the other day.
This developed as six suspected pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted by the police in different parts of this city.
A report received by Col. Patrick Joyce Sangalang, city police director here, identified the suspected robber as Alexis Flores, of Barangay Balibago.
In broad daylight, the suspect allegedly slipped into the residence of Dongwoon Ko along Guardenia St. in Timog Park Subdivision and tried to steal the latter’s sling bag containing P10,000.
But before he got out of the house, the Korean saw hin and shouted for help that alarmed his neighbors. One of the neighbors called the police hotline to seek assistance.
Responding policemen were able to arrest the suspect who is facing charges for attempted robbery and related offences before the City Prosecutor’s Office here.
In a buy-bust operation at Barangay Cutud here the other day, policemen arrested one Bernard Dulo, 33, a watch-listed person, and Wendell Villegas, 18, both residents of Pandacaqui in Mexico town. Two sachets of shabu and the P500 marked money were seized from the suspects.
