In a report to PNP chief, General Oscar D. Albayalde, the official identified the suspect as Nathaniel Hipolito, the 4th most wanted person in Bulacan province where he is facing a rape case since 1999.
According to Monsalve, members of the Regional Intelligence Unit 3 under Colonel Nestor Babagay and the Bulacan 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company led by Captain Michael Santos arrested the suspect in his hiding place in Barangay Barangca in Baliwag town at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The arrest was made on the strength of a warrant for two counts of rape issued by Judge Crisanto Concepcion of the Malolos City Regional Trial Court Branch 12 with no bail recommended on June 3, 1999.
The suspect is now being held at the 2nd Bulacan PMFC headquarters in San Jose del Monte City prior to his turnover to court, said Babagay.
