Navotas pusher falls

POLICE arrested a suspected drug pusher, along with his two clients, a minor and a sexagenarian woman during a buy-bust operation in Navotas City.

Navotas police chief P/Col. Rolando Balasabas said elements of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation against Michael Demesa, 41, at around 2:30 a.m. in front of his house at Blk 21, Phase 2, Area 1, Bgy. NBBS led by P/Lt. Eric Roxas.

When Demesa handed a plastic sachet of shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for P300 marked money, operatives of SDEU immediately pounced on him.

Two of his clients, a 13-year old boy and 60-year-old Pascuala Paraiso alyas “Bebe”, 60, laundry woman, were also arrested after they were caught in the act of purchasing shabu from the arrested suspect.

Charges for violation of Section 5 and 11 under R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act will be filed against Demesa while Section 11 of R.A.9165 will be filed against Paraiso before the Navotas City Prosecutor’s Office.
