OVER 2,300 confessed drug personalities in Isabela province who surrendered under the Philippine National Police Oplan: Tokhang program last week gathered to renew their support to the government’s war on drugs, Police Regional Office 2 director, Brigadier General Jose Mario M. Espino said yesterday.

Espino said a total of 2,382 former drug users and street-level dealers in Isabela attended the 1st Oplan: Tokhang responders’ summit in the province held at the Ilagan City community center.

The official said the 2,382 former drug personalities in the province are now considered drug-free and useful citizens of the province.

Espino said that Isabela Governor Rodolfo Albano III spoke during the program and aired his administration’s 100 percent willingness to support the Tokhang responders by providing them additional funds for their cooperative.
