THREE “high-value” drug targets on Thursday were arrested and nearly P14 million worth of shabu was seized in separate anti-narcotics operations in Cebu.
Police Regional Office 7 director Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said two of the suspects, Arcelia Tamarion alias “Arceli,” 35, of 177-F, T. Padilla St., Cebu City and Stanley Urdaneta, 37, of F. Villa St., M.J. Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City, were placed under arrest after conspiring to sell the drugs to an undercover officer in Sitio Mustang, Bgy. Pusok in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu at 11:15 p.m. on Thursday.
Policemen led by Lt. Col. Mark Gifter Sucalit recovered during the sting a shoulder bag containing a cal. .45 pistol with loaded magazine, 12 plastic packets containing a total of 1.055 kilograms of the “poor man’s cocaine” worth P6.803 million.
The third suspect, Niño Develos, a 29-year-old resident of Happy Valley, Gauadalupe, Cebu City, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in his neighborhood at 2:10 a.m. on the same day.
