ANGELES CITY -– Some P1.93 million worth of shabu and a separate P578,000 worth of the same substance were confiscated by the police here in separate buy-busts the other day.
Col. Joyce Patrick Sangalang, city police director, said the first operation led to the arrest of Orlando Dayrit, 44, who yielded some 285 grams of shabu with an estimated street price of P1,938,000 during a nighttime operation in Bgy. Lourdes.
In Bgy. Lourdes Northwest, police arrested Arnold Guibo, of legal age, who is listed as top 6 in Sibat Target.
Guibo yielded some 85 grams of shabu worth P578,000.
Also confiscated were marked peso bills used in the operation and the vehicles used by the suspects.
Mandatory witnesses were requested for inventory and marking of evidence in compliance to Sec. 21 of Republic Act 9165. The arrested suspect and pieces of evidence were brought to Police Station 2 for documentation and proper disposition.
A complaint for violation of Sectiom 5, Sec.11 and Sec. 15 ART II of RA 9165 were filed against the suspects before the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
