PDEA3 seizes shabu, gun in Pampanga drug den

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga – Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA3) shut down a drug den which resulted in the arrest of five suspects and confiscation of P68,000 worth of shabu and a loaded gun in Quezon Drive, Barangay Dau of this city last Sunday night.

In a report submitted to PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva, PDEA3 Regional Director Christian Frivaldo said the buy-bust operation was in coordination with Mabalacat City Police Station.

He also identified the suspects as Jayson Anunciacion, 35;  Joel Anunciacion, 29;  Jericho Anunciacion, 22; Bryan Anunciacion,25; and Melissa Libre, 21.

The sting operation yielded more or less 10 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P68,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, one Colt MK IV Cal. 45 pistol, 10 live ammunition and the buy-bust money.

“The suspects were engaged in a pot session when PDEA agents swooped down on the place”, Frivaldo said.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 and RA 10591 are being readied for filing in court.
