LUCENA CITY— People of Quezon province have nothing to worry about the reported presence of patients under investigation (PUI) as the laboratory results of their specimens turned negative for nobel coronavirus.
This was disclosed by Integrated Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Grace Santiago, in the latest statement issued by her office.
With this, Santiagò said the remaining five PUIs under the care of Department of Health and IPHO have been discharged from a health facility and sent home.
Meanwhile, of the persons under monitoring (PUM), Santiago said four of them have completed their home quarantine and remained healthy and without any respiratory symptoms.
But despite this development, DoH and IPHO still advice the public to keep on practicing universal precautions on personal hygiene, like proper handwashing, and covering of mouth/nose when coughing/sneezing.
