Remulla voted Cavite gov

TRECE MARTIRES CITY -- The Cavite Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBoC) here formally proclaimed the come backing Governor Juanito Victor ‘Jonvic’ Remulla Jr as the winner of the gubernatorial race last May 13.

The Cavite PBoC led by  Chairman Atty. Alnulfo Pioquinto, proclaimed Governor-elect Remulla together with unnopposed Vice Governor Ramon ‘Jolo’ Revilla III and Dasmariñas City lone district Representative-elect Elpidio ‘Pidi’ Barzaga at 10 a.m. yesterday.

Remulla obtained 820,890 votes against former Governor Erineo ‘Ayong’ Maliksi, who garnered 493,085 votes.

The proclamation was three days delayed due to faulty SD cards in the cities of Imus, General Trias, Dasmariñas, Trece Martires and in the upland town of Alfonso.

Also proclaimed were are Cavite 4th District Dasmariñas City Board members-elect Vale Encabo and Jun Dela Cuesta, Cavite 7th District Representative-elect Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla for Tanza, Amadeo, Trece Martires City and Indang town, Board members-elect Ping Remulla and Lito Langit.

“Tapos na po ang halalan, magsama-sama po muli tayo na paunlarin pa ang ating mahal na lalawigan ng Cavite.” Remulla said.
