Skyjet exec backs Sangley use

CAVITE CITY, Cavite -- Skyjet President Dino Reyes Chua told the Philippine News Agency (PNA) they are supporting the government plan to use the historic Sangley Airport for general aviation and domestic flights.

“We are happy and exited that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (PRRD) choose to develop Sangley Airport for our domestic flights.” said Chua who resides in neighboring town Noveleta

Other airlines, like Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Asia also support the program of the national government project

The boutique airline lauds the government’s effort to decongest the air traffic at Ninoy Aquino International Airport and benefit the domestic flight as a whole.

Sangley Airport will be the center of general aviation and domestic airlines to ease the traffic congestion in NAIA.

Secretary Arthur P. Tugade had ordered the hiring of additional manpower and work 24/7 to expedite its completion and acquisition of additional equipment to hasten works on the Sangley airport.
