“Our operatives also seized P2 million in cash believed to be used in vote buying as the P100 bills were placed in white envelopes with sample ballots,” said the PRO13 director.

According to Cruz, combined agents of the PRO13 Regional Intelligence Division, the Lingig Municipal Police Station and the Philippine National Police Special Action Force and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group stormed the mayor’s house in barangay poblacion at around 3:20 a.m. yesterday.
