Japan firm donates P1M for M’danao quake victims

THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) received some  P1 million cash donation from a Japanese manufacturing firm for those affected by the earthquakes in Mindanao.

PRC chairman Richard Gordon said ROHM Electronics Philippines, Inc. president Takahiko Tanaka personally handed a P1-million check to him for the quake victims. 

“We thank ROHM Philippines for the donation and for being a regular partner of the Philippine Red Cross,” Gordon said.

The ROHM Philippines shared P427, 616 from the total amount of the donation, while P572,384 came from the company’s employees, according to PRC.
