Duterte yet to pick PNP chief

PRESIDENT Duterte is yet to pick a new Philippine National Police chief and instead told PNP Officer-in-Charge Lieutenant General Archie Francisco F. Gamboa to finish the procurement of police Body-Worn Cameras or BWCs before December 10 or he will personally take over the purchase of the much-needed gadget, the Journal Group learned yesterday.

Law enforcement not for Leni – PNP

PHILIPPINE National Police Officer-in-Charge Lieutenant General Archie Francisco F. Gamboa on Monday said it would be good for Vice President Leni Robredo to focus on improving the government’s advocacy and rehabilitation program when it comes to fighting drugs and just leave the arrest and prosecution of offenders to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the PNP and the Department of Justice.

DILG assures VP of full cooperation
