POLICE have arrested and filed criminal charges against a 42-year-old woman who tried to smuggle an estimated P102,000 worth of shabu inside the South Cotabato Rehabilitation and Detection Center early Sunday morning, Police Regional Office 12 director, Brigadier General Alfred S. Corpus said yesterday.
One of the slain suspects identified as Bokhari Medico Alawi, a 50-year old resident of Poblacion Marawi, Marawi City died after exchanging fire with plainclothes officers in his neighborhood at 3:45 p.m. Monday, said Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Police Regional Office director, Brigadier General Marni C. Marcos Jr.
