NPD’s most wanted person falls in Caloocan

NPD Director P/Brig.Gen. Nelson Bondoc said ex-barangay watchman Benjamin Servando, 42, who is facing murder charges and is Northern Police District’s (NPD) No. 1 Most Wanted Person, was nabbed after hiding for more than two years by the District Special Operation Unit (DSOU) led by P/Maj. Amor Cerillo on Tawilis St., Dagat-Dagatan at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

P/Sgt. Allan Ignacio Reyes, who was part of the arresting team, said Servando was allegedly drunk when he shot to death Edgardo Buco, of Kawal St., Bgy. 28 on December 30, 2018 following a heated altercation. Servando admitted the crime and said he shot the victim when the latter allegedly threatened to kill him over an old grudge.
