BIG and small oil firms will implement another round of increase of pump prices effective today, Tuesday.
Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell announced another increase of gasoline by P0.85 centavos per liter, diesel by P0.30 centavos per liter and kerosene by P0.25 centavos per liter effective at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Chevron Philippines, another major oil firm, announced the same price adjustment much earlier at 12:01 a.m. while small player Clean Fuel will implement the same price movement of their diesel and gasoline products at 4:01 p.m. today.
Thai-led PTT Philippines, Total Philippines, Seaoil, Unioil Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum and Flying V also implemented and increase of their diesel and gasoline products by the same increment at 6 a.m. today, Tuesday.
The second round of increase of local pump prices this January reflect movements in the international oil market.
