Oil prices raised a 3rd time

BIG and small oil companies will implement a third wave of fuel price increases effective today.

Chevron Philippines Inc. announced an increase of P1.05 on their diesel products, P1.00 per liter on gasoline and P0.95 centavos per liter on kerosene effective and 12:01 a.m. today while Petron Corporation and Pilipinas Shell will also carry out the same price adjustments at 6 a.m.

Independent oil firms PTT Philippines, Seaoil, Total Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, Uniol and Eastern Petroleum will increase their prices of gasoline and diesel products by the same increments, also at 6 a.m. today.

Clean Fuel, another small oil firm, will implement the same price adjustments of gasoline and diesel products at 4:01 p.m.

Oil industry sources said the continued spiking of international oil prices have caused domestic prices to climb this January.
