Oriental Mindoro’s 1st batch of modernized PUVs blessed

GLORIA, Oriental Mindoro — Gov. Bonz Dolor led the blessing and inauguration of the first batch of modernized PUVs in Bgy. Sta. Maria, here on Friday.

The PUVs are being managed by Bongabong Bansud Gloria Pinamalayan Transport Cooperative (BBGP).

Dolor praised the cooperative for its efforts to realize the provincial government’s dream.

The governor also promised that the cooperative would be provided with cement and sand to improve the parking area for the vehicles.

LTO MIMAROPA Regional Director Hilarion Ulep, CESO III, gave a short message regarding the beauty of the project.

Through this (project), it will be more convenient and safe for people to travel to their destination,”Ulep added.

The event was also attended by Gloria Municipal Mayor German Rodegerio, OIC chief, LTO Pinamalayan Joseph Abes, Bgy. Sta. Maria Captain Kap Wilson Paraz, representatives of Forland International, Forland Philippines, and Land Bank of the Philippines Calapan branch.

Also coinciding with the event was the opening of the BBGP Transport Cooperative gasoline station.
