P.4M shabu seized from 3 siblings

THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Tuesday announced the arrest of three siblings who allegedly yielded P414, 800 worth of shabu during a buy-bust in Quezon City.

QCPD Director, Police Brigadier General Danilo P Macerin identified the three siblings as Marvin Reyes, 29, Rosalyn Reyes, 31, Maricris Reyes, 28.

The Reyes siblings were arrested along with alleged their cohorts Oliver Cordora, 31 and Japeth Piedad, 32, all residents of Bgy.Tatalon, in a buy-bust at about 9:30 p.m. on February 22, 2021, inside room no. 23 of the Crest Apartelle located along E. Rodriguez Sr., Brgy. Kristong Hari.

A report from the Kamuning Police Station showed that they received a call from an informant regarding the alleged illegal drug activities of Marvin in Bgy. Kristong Hari.

The suspects were collared after a poseur buyer bought P12, 500 worth of shabu from Marvin who came along with Cordora. Rosalyn, Maricris and Japeth were also held after they were caught engaged in a shabu session during the drug transaction. Confiscated from them were more or less 61 grams of shabu valued at P414, 800, drug paraphernalia, the buy-bust money and a cellular phone used in the drug transaction.

The suspects will be charged with Violation of R.A. 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
