P.5M shabu seized from jobless man

MORE than half a million worth of shabu were from a jobless man following a drug sting conducted by elements of Northern Police District (NPD) Friday before dawn in Caloocan City.

The NPD District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) led by P/Capt. Ramon Aquiatan, Jr. arrested Richard Fabul, 19, of Blk. 38, Lot 16, Phase 3, Bgy. 12 Dagat-Dagatan, after he sold a medium-sized plastic sachet of shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P6,000 marked money at around 2:30 a.m. on corner Sabalo and Salaysalay Streets, Bgy. 12.

NPD Director P/Brig. Gen. Ronaldo Ylagan said the arrest of Fabul was the result of intelligence driven operation by elements of DDEU which was personally supervised by P/Lt. Col.Giovanny Hycenth Caliao I, chief of District Special Operation Unit (SDOU).

Seized from Fabul were a total of 75 grams of shabu with standard drug price worth P510,000 and the marked money consisting of a P1,000 genuine bill and five pieces of boodle money.

Ylagan said the suspect was presented for inquest proceedings before the Caloocan City Prosecutor’s Office on charges of selling and possession of illegal drugs while the seized evidence was brought to the NPD Crime Laboratory for chemical analysis.
