P1.25M shabu seized in Zambales, N. Ecija

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Some P1.25 million worth of shabu were seized from three suspected drug pushers in Zambales and Nueva Ecija within two days

Yesterday, joint personnel of Subic police and Zambales PIU conducted a buy-bust which led to the arrest of Ireneo Quimen, 34, resident of Bgy. Pamatawan, Subic.

Seized from the suspect were 20 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 89 grams with an estimated value of P578,500.

Last Wednesday, Cabanatuan police conducted anti-Illegal drug operation in Purok 6, Bgy. Mabini Extension, Cabanatuan City which resulted in the arrest of Bansan Ampuan, 30, vendor, a resident of Brgy. Wawa, Balagtas, Bulacan; and Nenita Taeza, 47, of Bgy. Caalibangbangan, Cabanatuan City.

Confiscated from the two women were 23 plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 100 grams worth P680,108.

Further investigation revealed that the duo was arrested separately in 2017 and 2018 for same offense andavailed of a plea-bargaining agreement.

Appropriate charges for Violation of Sec 5 and Sec 11, Art II of RA 9165 are already being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
