TWO suspects were arrested while P102,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized following a buy-bust in Quezon City on Saturday night.
Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Danilo P. Macerin identified the arrested suspect as Ryan Cabarles, 31, and Ronielyn Bose, alias Len, 33, both residents of Bgy. Baesa.
A report from the Masambong Police Station showed that the cops received a tip from an informant regarding the alleged illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects.
Anti-narcotics operatives of the Masambong Police Station conducted the buy- bust at about 5 p.m. on January 23, 2021 on Lot 16, Block 1, Casa Bonita Homes, Bgy. Baesa.
An undercover cop posed as a poseur buyer and bought shabu from the suspects who were immediately arrested.
Seized from the suspects were 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000, the buy-bust money and two cellular phones used in the drug deal.
The drug suspects will be charged with violations of R.A. 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
