ANGELES CITY – A watch listed person was arrested and P102,000 worth of shabu was seized during an anti-drug operation here the other day.
Col. Rommel Batangan, acting city police director, identified the arrested suspect as Raymond Viscaino, 39, resident of Bgy. Capaya 2 here.
Viscaino was nabbed after selling a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer. Confiscated from him were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 15 grams and DDB value of P102,000.
The suspect is facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165 before the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
Meanwhile, a drug den was dismantled in Subic town by anti-narcotic operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III- Zambales Provincial Office and the local police which also led to the arrest of six drug suspects and seizure of some P140,000 worth of shab.
The drug sting was conducted along Purok 5, Matain, of this town also last Monday.
PDEA Regional Director Christian Frivaldo identified the arrested suspects as Joel Dela Cruz, 34; Bienbenido Espinoso, 31; Domingo Sioco, 47; Isagani Okerya, 23; Isnalin Ussam, 48; and Pricess Joy Lacaba, 25.
Seized were plastics sachets containing suspected shabu which weighs 20 grams with an estimated street value of P140,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspects.
