P102K shabu seized from 2 cousins in Caloocan

TWO cousins were arrested after they were caught with an estimated P102,000 worth of suspected shabu during an anti-illegal drugs operation in Caloocan City on Wednesday.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, Police Brigadier General Ronnie S. Montejo identified the arrested suspects as Mobilito Lopez, 49, and Wilson Lopez, 50, both residents of Bgy. 172, Urdja Extension, Caloocan City.

The report showed that a confidential informant reported to PS 4 the illegal drug peddling activities of the suspects which prompted the police to set a buy-bust at about 1:15 a.m. on November 4, 2020, on 5 Zamora Compound, Camarin Road, Bgy. 172, Urdja Extension.

A police acted as a poseur buyer and bought shabu from the suspects which led to their arrest.

Confiscated from the suspects were 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000, the buy-bust money, weighing scale and cellular phone.

The suspects will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
