P10M drugs seized from 3 Nigerians in Cavite

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite — Three Nigerian nationals were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) La Union and Region III in coordination with PDEA-Cavite and Cavite PNP, in two drug operations Monday night in the city.

Police Lt. Colonel Marlo Solero, local police chief, identified the apprehended drug suspects as Ifeañyi Ofoma, of Blk. 26, Lot 17, Kensington Phase 22, Bgy. Bacao 1; Benjamin Enemuo and Chiduben Nwong of Block 01, Lot 89, Kensington Phase 17 Alden St., Lancaster Village, Bgy. Navarro.

Around 500 grams of shabu with a street value of P3,400,000 and 5,000 grams of dried marijuana leaves with a street value of P600,000 were seized from Ofoma. Some 1,000 grams of shabu with a street value of P6,800,000 were seized from Enemuo and Nwong.

The arrested Nigerians are facing charges for violation of Section 5 in relation to Sec. 26 paragraph b Art. II of RA 9165.
