P1M drugs, guns seized in Parañaque

OVER P1 million worth of the designer drug called ‘Ecstasy’, high-grade marijuana and suspected cocaine and two firearms were seized by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in an anti-narcotics operation in Parañaque City Friday morning, PDEA chair, Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva said.

The PDEA chief said two suspects identified as Swiss national Thomas Fritz Stucki and Chickena Magbojos will be facing criminal charges in connection with the raid on 14 F. Guerrero Street, NSHA Village in Parañaque City 8 a.m.

Recovered during the raid conducted by members of the PDEA National Capital Region Office and the Southern Police District were 200 Ecstasy pills which cost as much as P3,200 each pill in the undergroun market, various empty transparent plastic sachets containing traces of suspected cocaine, plastic packets with dried marijuana leaves, envelopes sent from The Netherlands found to be containing around 1,000 pieces of Kush seeds and two unlicensed guns.

Villanueva said his men conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by a local court to allow the PDEA to search Stucki’s residence and look for more prohibited drugs.

Last August 27, Stucki, along with two Filipinos identified as Carlo Gonzales and Raymond Dragon were arrested in a buy-bust operation along Aguirre Avenue in Barangay BF Homes in Parañaque.

PDEA agents also impounded a silver Toyota Fortuner and a green Toyota Revo used by the suspects to transport the drugs.

All arrested suspects are now facing charges for violation of RA 9165 and are being held at the PDEA lock-up facility in Quezon City, said Villanueva.
