P3.4M shabu seized from woman in QC

SOME P3.4 million worth of shabu was seized from a female drug bust in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by QCPD Fairview Police Station (PS 5) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO NCR QCDO operatives in Bgy. Greater Lagro, Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Ronnie S Montejo said, suspect Rehima Saripada Alafa, of legal age, resident of Quiapo, Manila, was nabbed at about 4:30 p.m. August 27, 2020, at the parking lot of SM Fairview, Brgy. Greater Lagro.

Alafa was nabbed after an undercover operative acted as a poseur buyer and bought shabu from her.

Seized from the suspect were 500 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P3,400,000, a black Toyota Revo with plate number XAJ 376D, a cellular phone and the buy-bust money.

The suspect will be charged with violation of R.A. 9165 or “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.

PBGEN Montejo commended the operatives for their relentless anti-illegal drug operations resulting in the arrest of the suspect and confiscation of the illegal drugs. He added that Alafa’s arrest is a result of an intelligence driven operation.
