P428K shabu seized in Pampanga

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A suspected drug dealer was arrested in a recent anti-drug operation in Sto. Tomas town in this province that also resulted in the confiscation of some P428,000 worth of shabu.

Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon, Police Regional Office 3 director, identified the arrested suspect as Joel Lim, of Bgy. Cutud, San Fernando City.

Policemen confiscated from Lim seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 63 grams with an estimated value of P428,400, a green pouch, SKK Android cellphone, weighing scale, P1,500 cash in different denominations, and the P1,000 marked money during a buy bust.

Based on the report of Col. Arnold Thomas Ibay, Pampanga police director, joint elements of PDEU, Pampanga PPO, PIU and Sto. Tomas SDEU conducted anti-illegal drug entrapment operation in Bgy. Sto Nino, Sto. Tomas, Pampanga which led to the arrest of the suspect.

We relentlessly launch our anti-drug operations while working double time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region,” De Leon said.

Meanwhile, two drug suspects were arrested and 27 sachets of suspected shabu were confiscated during a recent anti-illegal drugs operation in Bgy. Sto. Cristo, Guagua Pampanga.

Guagua cops conducted the buy-bust which led to the arrest of Manuel Manalang of Lubao town, and Normita Angeles of Sasmuan town, both in Pampanga.

A P500 marked bill was also confiscated from the duo.
