P500K shabu seized from drug peddler in Orion

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Some P500,000 worth of shabu were seized by the police during an anti- illegal drugs operation in Bataan last Tuesday.

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon said that joint personnel of PPDEU, PIU Bataan PPO, Bataan PECU and SDEU of Orion MPS conducted a buy-bust in Bgy. Sabatan Orion, Bataan which resulted in the arrest of Brian James Sevilla, 31.

Seized from Sevilla were a plastic sachet and kce bag containing suspected with an estimated street value of P500,000.

The suspect is facing charges for violation of Section 5, Art. II of R.A 9165 for selling illegal drugs.

De Leon also disclosed that three persons being sought by law were arrested by authorities in Pampanga and Tarlac.

The PRO3 director identified one of the suspects as Vic Villanueva, 42, no. 3 most wanted person in Nueva Ecija, and resident of Bgy. Poblacion, Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.

The suspect was arrested by joint elements of the 2nd Maneuver, PMFC, NEPPO by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9165 under CC No. SD (16)-4133 issued by Judge Nelson A. Tribiana of RTC, Branch 37, Baloc, Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.

The two other suspects were identified as Kelvin Bautista of Bgy. San Nicolas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga, who was nabbed for violation of RA 7610 and Harmon Herames, resident of Bgy. Pugaro, Dagupan City, Pangasinan who was arrested in Tarlac for attempted murder.
