CAMP OLIVAS, Pampang — Police authorities arrested a notorious drug peddler and seized illegal drugs amounting to more or less P7.1 million on Thursday in Porac, Pampanga.
PRO3 Regional Director B/Gen Valeriano de Leon identifed the arrested suspect as Khalid Montealto, a.k.a. Khalid, high value inividual, and resident of Angeles City, Pampanga.
Monte was arrested during a buy-bust launched by joint operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit-Pampanga PPO, Provincial Intelligence Unit- Pampanga PPO and Porac Special Drug Enforcement Unit in Bgy. Sta Cruz, Porac, Pampanga.
Seized from Monte were six-heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 1.25 kilograms with an estimated street value of P7.1 million, Oppo android cellphone; black backpack; silver Toyota Corolla big body with plate number TRA403; Php2,000.00 in different denominations; five P100 bills with P9,500 boodle marked money.
Appropriate charges for violation of Secs. 5 & 11, Art II of RA 9165 are being filed against the suspect.
“This is another feather in the cap for Police Regional Office 3 as we keep on yielding accomplishments in our all out-war against illegal drugs. Series of operations are still being conducted and we will not stop until every single sachet of illegal drugs is wiped out, every drug pusher is arrested and every drug user is reformed,” de Leon added.
