Kush

ABOUT P7-million worth of illegal drugs from five abandoned parcels were confiscated by the Bureau of Customs and the NAIA-PDEA at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.

Before that, the said parcels were sent by different individuals from Thailand, Canada and California and were reportedly consigned to five separate persons supposedly residing in Tondo, Pampanga, Mandaue City, Taytay, Rizal and Bulacan.

Personnel from the Customs and NAIA-PDEA examined the contents of the parcel which, after going through x-ray machines and physical examination by customs examiners, yielded a total of 4,877 grams of ‘kush’ or high-grade marijuana, with a standard drug price reaching P6,827,800. Also found were seven disposable vapes containing marijuana oil and worth P3,780.

Said illegal drugs have been turned over to the NAIA-PDEA-IADITG for additional investigation and proper disposition.
