CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Policemen seized more than P700,000 worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Olongapo City over the weekend.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon said identified the arrested suspect as Erickson Flores, of legal age.
Seized from the suspect was suspected shabu weighing more or less 105 grams.
De Leon said Flores was arrested by joint operatives of Police Station 4, Police Station 3, City Mobile Force and City Drug Enforcement Unit of Olongapo City Police.
The illegal drugs were inside 13 heat-sealed plastic sachets worth some P714,000. The marked P500 bill used in the buy-bust was also recovered from the suspect.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 is being filed against the suspects.
“We continue working double time to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region, as we are relentless in our anti-drug operations,” De Leon said.
