Participation in CADAC DAGAN 2.0 “Run for Hope”

Cagayan de Oro City – The CDOCJ-MD under the supervision of City Jail Warden JSUPT MARLON J YMBALLA, DSC, proudly participated in the CADAC DAGAN 2.0 “Run for Hope,” organized by Dr. Rhyselle Bernadette Meliza-Descallar from the Office of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Division at the Oro Wellness Center.

The event took place at Kiosko Kagawasan in Divisoria and included participation from the Cagayan de Oro City Jail-Female Dormitory, led by City Jail Warden JINSP LYN M BERNIL. Various other agencies also joined the event, highlighting a strong community commitment to drug abuse prevention.

The CADAC DAGAN 2.0 “Run for Hope” is part of the celebration for Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Month 2024, with the theme: “The Evidence is Clear: Invest in Prevention” and it aims to raise awareness and support for the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation (CBDR) and Aftercare Program for responders and their families. Participants could choose to run in either the 3k or 5k categories, fostering a spirit of solidarity and health within the community.
