President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Saturday asked for the continued backing of his ardent supporters after a successful campaign, and with the country now facing multiple challenges.

Kaya’t ‘yan ang ating mga kailangang gawin,” the chief executive said.

The President said he expects that the coordination and meetings of his backers during the campaign will continue.

The task at hand, he said, is important than the endeavors they did during the campaign because what is at stake is the welfare of the entire nation.

The chief executive further urged his supporters to continue doing their work and to love their fellowmen and country.

According to the President, unity has always been his message whenever he goes out of the country and meets Filipinos.

Recalling his trip to New York when he attended the United Nations General Assembly, Marcos said : “Ang sabi ko sa kanila, magkaisa tayo para tayo naman… maharap natin ang mga kahirapan at ang mga hamon na darating, dumadating dito sa Pilipinas at para sa ating mga kababayan.”

President Marcos expressed his gratitude to his supporters and greeted them Merry Christmas during the Palace meeting.
