PCSO urges public to patronize its games; huge chunk goes to charity

PHILIPPINE Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to continue patronizing the PCSO games, saying a huge portion goes to charity.

The PCSO annnounced that it had distributed more than P32.2 million worth of medical assistance to over 4,000 indigent patients in the country.

In an advisory, the PCSO said that a total of P32,226,21.64 was given to 4,765 patients from April 11 to 14, 2023 only, under its Medical Assistance Program (MAP).

The beneficiaries include 513 patients from the National Capital Region (NCR) who received a total of P5,985,992.

In Northern and Central Luzon, a total of 1,131 patients got P8,434,062.92 worth of medical help while in Southern Tagalog and Bicol Region, 1,315 patients received P6,355,590.44 in medical assistance.

In Visayas, 844 patients were given P5,732,642.57 medical assistance while in Mindanao, 962 patients benefitted from P5,717,733.71 assistance.
