PDEA nets P3.4M drugs in Cavite mall parking lot

BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A- Cavite recovered P3.4 million worth of drugs in a mall parking here from two drug couriers on January 20, 2021.

PDEA operatives identified the arrested suspects as Aliakbar Pangandamun, resident of Lumbaca Madaya, Marawi City and Halil Jamal, a resident of Block 10, Lot 5 Lancaster Village, Imus City.

Seized were illegal drugs weighing 500 grams with a street value of P3.4 million. Also seized from them were boodle money and a genuine P1,000 bill.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or illegal possession of illegal drugs. They were not allowed to post bail.
