Purok Mahigugmaon, Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory – To support the reintegration and welfare of Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), an onsite Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) registration was successfully conducted on September 23, 2025, at Purok Mahigugmaon, Cagayan de Oro City Jail – Male Dormitory (CDOCJMD).
The activity was facilitated by JO1 Revyn C Delegero, Helpdesk Officer of CDOCJ-MD, in coordination with Ms. JC Sweet P. Sios-e and Mr. Christian Jen D. Labado, staff from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), who led the registration process.

The initiative aimed to assist unregistered PDL in obtaining their PhilSys National ID, a vital document required to access various public and social services from government agencies. Through this effort, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) ensures that PDL are not excluded from government support systems critical to their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.
The activity was conducted under the supervision of SJO4 Aldous S Ybañez, Chief of Welfare and Development Section, and under the leadership of JSUPT MARLON J YMBALLA, DSC, City Jail Warden.
The CDOCJ-MD remains committed to promoting the welfare of all PDL through continuous initiatives that protect their rights and prepare them for a better future.
