Plumber caught with drugs at police station, arrested

POLICE arrested Saturday a plumber who was supposed to fix a water leak at the Eastwood Police Station ((PS 12) in Bgy. Bagumbayan but instead yielded shabu and paraphernalia.

Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director, PBGEN Ronnie S. Montejo identified the arrested suspect as Peter Bryan De Leon, 42, a resident of Bgy. Kamuning.

The report showed that PS 12 hired De Leon to repair the water line leaks of PS 12.

However, at about 6:30 p.m. of October 10, 2020, while De Leon was in the kitchen, two duty police officers who were conducting routine area security inspection caught De Leon holding a lighter and a sachet of suspected shabu.

The suspect quickly hid the illegal drug and paraphernalia in his pocket.

When told to empty his pocket, the suspects yielded a sachet of shabu and a lighter and was arrested.

A case of violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be brought for inquest proceedings at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office against the suspect.
