THE PNP-Aviation Security Group, together with CIDG Davao de Oro PFU 11 and Mawab Municipal Police Station, Davao de Oro PPO, arrested on Tuesday a 26-year-old arriving passenger at the Davao International Airport.
It was learned that the passenger was apprehended pursuant to a non-bailable warrant of arrest for violation of Section 4 (A) and Section 4 (B) of Republic Act No. 11930, also referred to as the “Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009″.
The said arrested passenger is currently in the custody of the PNP-CIDG PFU 11 and the Mawab Municipal Police Station for documentation and further legal proceedings.
PNP AVSEGROUP Director, PBGen Christopher Abrahano, said: “We want to emphasize that no matter the nature of the offense, we will continue to apprehend individuals who break the law. It is our duty as police officers to ensure that justice is served.”
