DUE to fire that began in bundled electric cable wires hidden in the ceiling, a portion of the Barangay Hall of Brgy. 837 Zone 91 located at 2895 Road 2 Bo. Obrero Street, Pandacan, Manila, was razed by fire.
A report from the Manila Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said that the hall occupants noticed smoke coming out of the ceiling so that they immediately sought help from the BFP and used fire extinguisher.
The fire was contained fast and no one was reported to have been injured or killed in the incident, even as no other structures were affected.
The BFP is yet to establish the estimated damage to property.
