PRESIDENT Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos accompanied his son, Congressman Sandro Marcos, when the latter filed his certificate of candidacy to seek a second term as Representative of Ilocos Norte (2nd district).
“Today, I returned to Laoag not as the president, but as a father standing behind his son. Sandro’s wholehearted commitment in taking another chance to serve the people who raised him, gives me a sense of pride that is quite difficult to put into words, ” Pres. Marcos stated in his Facebook post.
The President added: “Our family is grateful for the love and trust that you’ve shown us. Let us keep moving forward and make Ilocos Norte and the entire Philippines an even better place for future generations. We are so proud of you, Sandro.”
