MANILA Mayor Honey Lacuna and Vice Mayor Yul Servo are inviting the public to take some time and enjoy the special 3D film showing at the historic Manila Clock Tower everyday.

Dubbed, ‘Sama-Saya sa Liwanag,’ the said show was launched by the city government on Sunday, December 15, 2024 and will last until the entire holidays.

Lacuna said that there will be an hourly screening at the tower from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., as she and Servo invite the public to witness the show with their loved ones and friends.

The nightly 3D show features lights, stories and fun which will surely entertain everyone. The Manila Clock Tower is being managed by Jose Ma. ‘Koi’ Belmonte of the Department of Tourism, Culture and the Arts of Manila (DTCAM) headed by Charlie Dungo.

According to Lacuna, those interested are advised to position themselves at the grounds of the Kartilya ng Katipunan which is located right behind the famed Bonifacio Shrine located just beside the Manila City Hall.

Meantime, Lacuna thanked all those who lent support during the city government’s gift-giving activity dubbed, ’12 Days of Christmas,’ wherein the mayor and Servo led the distribution of food boxes containing noche buena items to the resident-families of Manila.

It was learned that a total of 740,000 families received the said Christmas food boxes which is part of the city’s program to ensure that all families in Manila will have food on the table come Christmas Day.

Lacuna expressed gratitude to the various local government units who helped her and Servo carry out the distribution of the food boxes in the most efficient and swift manner possible.

The mayor also thanked the barangay authorities who undertook the distribution of the unclaimed food boxes.
