A WOMAN was arrested after she was caught in possession of shabu while visiting her live-in partner in jail Monday in Quezon City.
PBGEN Ronnie S. Montejo identified the suspect as Annabel Sevillano, 28, of Bgy. Payatas.
A report of the Fairview Police Station (PS 5) showed that Sevillano went to PS 5 at about 8 p.m. on September 6, 2020, to visit her partner Den Mark Piana, 33, who was detained on drug charges.
The duty jailer inspected the sling bag of Sevillano who was acting suspiciously and was uneasy.
Sevillano allegedly insisted on visiting her partner although visiting hours were over.
The jailer saw four sachets of shabu valued at P10,200. imside Sevillano’s bag prompting her arrest.
A case for violation of RA 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be brought for inquest proceedings at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office against the suspect.
