Rape suspects nabbed in Nueva Vizcaya, Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested rape suspects in Nueva Vizcaya and Bulacan over the weekend.

Brig. Gen. Valeriano De Leon, PRO3 director, identified one of the arrested suspects as Romulo Libid, 57, the No. 1 most wanted man in Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya.

Libid is wanted for rape and is the subject of an arrest warrant with no bail recommended and acts of lasciviousness with recommended bail of P180,000.

The other rape suspect was identified as Elson Bartolata, 50, farmer, and resident of City of San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan.

Bartolata was issued a warrant of arrest by the SJDM Regional Trial Court Branch 5 for qualified rape with no bail recommended.

These operations are part of our intensified campaign against wanted persons in line with the PNP Letter of Instruction Manhunt-Charlie by the chief of the PNP,” De Leon said.

Meanwhile, a former member of the Bureau of Fire Protection with a standing warrant of arrest was arrested by the Malolos City police.

The suspect was identified as FSInsp. Jaime Dionisio Robles, 58, of Malolos City, Bulacan.

Robles was arrested on the strength of a warrant for “Violation of Sec.8(a) in rel. to Sec.11(a) OF RA 6713” docketed under CC# 20-0808 issued by MTCC Branch 3 of San Fernando, Pampanga.
