NEWLY CROWNED Mrs. Model Mom Universe (MMMU) 2021, Jane Camus Knof epitomizes the organization’s objective that revolves around Beauty in Helping Others.
Long before she was named 2021 queen of the prestigious beauty search with a purpose, Knof has already been doing her own personal charity works as she finds joy in helping others.
Even as a child, she was delighted to share whatever she had, especially food, to less privileged peers. Thus, earning the Mrs. Model Mom Universe 2021 title paved her way into doing charity works at a larger scale.
“It has always been my dream to put up the kind of Foundation that does not ask donations and sponsorship to be able to help and support the less fortunate,” said the beauty queen from Maasin City Southern Leyte.
Hence, coinciding with MMMU’s purpose, Knof recently launched her personal Charity Foundation funded from her own wages and support from her husband John Knof, a retired aircraft engineer.
Based in Clearwater, Florida where she practices her Medical Technology and Nursing professions, Knof sees to it that she comes home to the Philippines every two months or so prior to the pandemic. At 53 and a mother of 4, she is the second appointed title holder of the MMMU crown, following the footsteps of Malaysia’s Claire See in 2019.
She was named Mrs. Noble Advocacy Queen in 2019. “I joined the beauty pageant circuit not for its glamour but for its charitable cause. I want to extend help to the needy with or without a beauty title to go with it,”she said.
The very first beauty queen to put up her very own Charitable Foundation that yields its own funds, Knof has become an inspiration to other beauty queens in helping and sharing their blessings to others.
